Isac Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Kihlman having to interfere. Kent Säv scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helge Kihlman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Börje Bergqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michel Åström came out and tried to block the shot, but Börje Bergqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. Helge Kihlman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Säv's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. If Isac Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th match minute, Nösund BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Rönn to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, Nösund BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredric Björklund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Tomasson in the 31st minute of play forced Nösund BK's goalkeeper Michel Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tage Thedin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Edsbruk RK got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Hydén. 42 minutes into the match, Edsbruk RK's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Säv came free, but Helge Kihlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Tomasson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Michel Åström 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Kenneth Tomasson made the kick off in the second half. Villiam Rönn hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kenneth Tomasson struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Michel Åström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edsbruk RK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenneth Tomasson in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Åström saved Nösund BK from getting behind. After 63 played minutes Nösund BK got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Falk. 73 minutes into the match, Börje Bergqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Åström. Nösund BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Bergqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Kent Säv took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Helge Kihlman to make any attempt to save it. If Isac Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Säv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivan Falk kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Edsbruk RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
