The referee ignored Hjärtum's protests and gave Jan Gallberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Stensjön IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Fernström to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Hjärtum got a freekick which was hit by Linus Hansson. After a defensive mix-up in Stensjön IK's zone, Gösta Lägdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Lund came out of the goal and Gösta Lägdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Linus Hansson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Hjärtum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Hansson couldn't finish the play. Kristian Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Sillén got free with Gabriel Ström in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gösta Lägdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Lägdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Stensjön IK's Kristian Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Hultman in the 55th minute of play. Kristian Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Hansson in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Stensjön IK's Kenny Moberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kenny Moberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Stensjön IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kenny Moberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Hjärtum a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Morgan Forsman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stensjön IK's Kristian Lund. 1-2. The goalkeeper, Kristian Lund, was totally fooled by Hjärtum's Morgan Forsman, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Billy Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billy Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Billy Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Morgan Forsman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristian Lund. Stensjön IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Hjärtum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Lägdin to maneuver through the defense. Linus Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Lund having to interfere. If Gösta Lägdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hjärtum's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
