Anton Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Egon Byström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vislanda IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Egon Byström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Haraldsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Vislanda IFK's Egon Byström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Lidhult's Kjell-Arne Haraldsson got control of the ball when Egon Byström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Höijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Robert Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Svartengren in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Vislanda IFK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Robert Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Lidhult's Anders Höijer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Bergström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Lidhult's Kjell-Arne Haraldsson got control of the ball when Simon Beneth tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Höijer in the 39th minute of play forced Vislanda IFK's goalkeeper Robert Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell-Arne Haraldsson made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Egon Byström sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Anders Höijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lidhult's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Höijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Bergström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Vislanda IFK's Robert Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Vislanda IFK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Vislanda IFK booed when Lidhult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Gummeson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
