Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edsbro's Conny Busk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ingemar Lundberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ingvar Askelöf to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Edsbro booed when Lycke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Håkan Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Kilman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Ingemar Lundberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ingvar Askelöf. Ingemar Lundberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Felix Kilman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Edsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Lundberg came free, but Ingvar Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Askelöf having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Allan Bjurström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lycke's Felix Kilman didn't even have to move. Conny Busk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Kilman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Frank Wickander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Kilman having to interfere. Ingemar Lundberg scored 4-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingvar Askelöf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65 minutes of play, Lycke's Ingemar Lundberg made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Askelöf was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Edsbro's zone, Leonardo Sjöö stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Askelöf came out of the goal and Leonardo Sjöö tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Håkan Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Felix Kilman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lycke's Ingemar Lundberg suffered a sore thigh after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ingmar Ekgren charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingmar Ekgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Edsbro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Ekgren to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Karlsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ingvar Askelöf. Edsbro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frank Wickander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Håkan Lindström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Felix Kilman made a huge save. Lycke's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
