Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Philip Sjögren took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Skärplinge IK's Philip Sjögren in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sälen IF's goalie prevented a goal. After 4 played minutes Skärplinge IK got a freekick which was hit by Billy Löv. 8 minutes into the game, Thomas Fribäck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sälen IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skärplinge IK the free kick. Thomas Fribäck kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Skärplinge IK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Ahlén. Patrik Dalberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sven Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Skärplinge IK booed when Sälen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Urban Hellström made the kick off in the second half. Skärplinge IK's Philip Sjögren got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Urban Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Billberg kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Philip Sjögren came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Skärplinge IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Sjögren couldn't finish the play. Philip Sjögren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Dalberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Björk having to make a save. Mikael Blomkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Blomkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Mikael Blomkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Sjögren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Björk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Sälen IF's Sven Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Sjögren in the 72nd minute of play. Sven Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Sjögren in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sälen IF's Emil Colin got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Ingvar Ahlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ingvar Ahlén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skärplinge IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Ahlén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Björk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sälen IF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tommy Sörman hit a great ball. Patrik Dalberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sven Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Philip Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
