If Urban Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes in the game, Arvid Pihlwall fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sven Björk having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Sixten Vallengren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Särö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sälen IF the free kick. A collision led to Särö getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sixten Vallengren hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Emil Colin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sälen IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Colin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Håkansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Sälen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Billberg to maneuver through the defense. Aron Sjöberg took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Björk. Sven Björk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 96 minutes into the match, Sälen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Pihlwall came free, but Sven Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Särö's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
