Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bertil Nyström kicked off to start the match. When Motala IK's Bertil Nyström in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saltsjöbaden's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Saltsjöbaden getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gustaf Ingemarsson hit a great ball. Folke Siggman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Smed in the 9th minute of the match. If Ulf Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Bertil Nyström put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kurt Bergstedt. With his leg Kurt Bergstedt managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Motala IK's Ulf Hellström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Bertil Nyström took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Kurt Bergstedt to make any attempt to save it. Axel Svartengren hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ulf Hellström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Bergstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Ulf Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Nyström in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th match minute, Saltsjöbaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Trulsson to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximilian Jönsätt to strike the kick off in the second half. Esbjörn Finnman kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Gustaf Sillén sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Saltsjöbaden's Kurt Bergstedt didn't even have to move. Krister Björnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximilian Jönsätt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Folke Siggman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Adam Smed was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saltsjöbaden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motala IK the free kick. Kurt Bergstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ulf Hellström notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Saltsjöbaden's Kurt Bergstedt. Kurt Bergstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kurt Bergstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Ulf Hellström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Bergstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 83rd minute, Bertil Nyström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Saltsjöbaden booed when Motala IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Björnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Bertil Nyström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Motala IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
