The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Hasselqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Måns Abelsson was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Måns Abelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Ekeroth in the 14th minute. Kurt Hermansson's late challenge caught a Mullhyttan IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Hermansson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skorped IF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kurt Hermansson hit a great ball. Skorped IF's Måns Abelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Skorped IF from getting a goal against them. Jon Nyström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nils Deckberg struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jon Nyström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skorped IF. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Deckberg in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Nyström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Wilhelm Hasselqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils Deckberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jon Nyström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Mullhyttan IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Björk came free, but Jon Nyström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Måns Abelsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilhelm Hasselqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Hasselqvist to make the kick off. With a little luck, Mullhyttan IFK's Jon Nyström got control of the ball when Roland Björk tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Roland Björk fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 62nd minute, Nils Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Deckberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jon Nyström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Hasselqvist in the 71st minute of play forced Skorped IF's goalkeeper Måns Abelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Skorped IF's Jon Nyström threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Deckberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Morgan Almqvist hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Bo Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Wilhelm Hasselqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Abelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Hasselqvist in the 88th minute of play forced Skorped IF's goalkeeper Måns Abelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Måns Abelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Skorped IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mullhyttan IFK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
