Hasselfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Ståhlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Törnqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Nicklas Mossberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Olof Eriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Nicklas Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasselfors's Jan-Olof Eriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Hasselfors from getting a goal against them. Gösta Stenberg's late challenge caught a By kyrkby BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gösta Stenberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hasselfors's Gösta Stenberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. Hasselfors's Jan-Olof Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Sjöberg in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robert Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Olof Eriksson was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Hasselfors defense, Nicklas Mossberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Olof Eriksson. The Hasselfors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Olof Eriksson should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Gustaf Biörk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Hasselfors's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Sjöberg came free, but Jan-Olof Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nicklas Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Ståhlberg struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jens Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hasselfors. Ian Ståhlberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Jens Johansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. By kyrkby BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
