Trehörningsjö's Fredrik Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Henriksson in the 13th minute of play. Jämjö's Mathias Hult played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Spets in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jämjö's zone, Kevin Spets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Hult came out of the goal and Kevin Spets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Ralf Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ralf Henriksson came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Jämjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Henriksson couldn't finish the play. Trehörningsjö's Fredrik Wennerqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Trehörningsjö from getting a goal against them. After having played for 43 minutes, Ralf Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jämjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Henriksson was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Gösta Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Hult stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Spets's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 61st match minute, Jämjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Mager to maneuver through the defense. If Ted Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Trehörningsjö's Ted Dahlquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Hult made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Edwin Lindholm hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Kevin Spets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Hult saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Henriksson in the 79th minute of play. Gösta Tingberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fredrik Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Ralf Henriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Wennerqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Jämjö:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Trehörningsjö:s goal. In the 90th minute of the game, Trehörningsjö got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. A collision led to Trehörningsjö getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Leonard Valström hit a great ball. Jämjö were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Trehörningsjö for a fine match.
