Karl Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Bennet in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Börge Bennet made a precise shot to the right of Karl Persson. Ljung's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 11 minutes, Ture Ek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljung and the Jävrebyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jävrebyn booed when Ljung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Kjell Gråberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jävrebyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljung the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jävrebyn's Kjell Gråberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. Kjell Josefsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Roger Alströmmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Persson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 28 in the game by Kjell Josefsson from a close distance when the talented Oskar Back managed to make a qualified save. Jävrebyn's players were relieved. Pontus Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Oskar Back tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Pontus Håkansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oskar Back, 1-1. Oskar Back made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Håkansson in the 34th minute of play. Ian Ahlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Ahlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ian Ahlberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Harry Thidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjell Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pontus Håkansson to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Börge Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Börge Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Håkansson in the 60th minute of play forced Jävrebyn's goalkeeper Oskar Back to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Back made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Håkansson in the 62nd minute of play. Kjell-Arne Sävström charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell-Arne Sävström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Jävrebyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Sävström to maneuver through the defense. Oskar Back showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pontus Håkansson in the 73rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Börge Bennet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Persson. That made the score 1-2 in the 83 minute of play. Tomas Levander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Karl Persson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 95th minute, Peter Kjellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Jävrebyn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jävrebyn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
