The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albert Lidström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göran Sandström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, Stocka IF's Frans Björling made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leif Ekeroth came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isaac Sundström could save by the left post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Douglas Ahlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaac Sundström. Stocka IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas Ahlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
