Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Axvall IK's Staffan Östlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Undersåker RK booed when Axvall IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Staffan Östlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Staffan Östlund came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Axvall IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staffan Östlund couldn't finish the play. Undersåker RK's Göran Forssell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Danielsson in the 13th minute of play. Adam Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adam Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Axvall IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Danielsson couldn't finish the play. Axvall IK's Staffan Östlund got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Undersåker RK's Göran Forssell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Östlund in the 29th minute of play. Staffan Östlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Göran Forssell having to make a save. If Sven-Erik Billock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Forssell came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Axvall IK's Staffan Östlund. But to his dismay, Staffan Östlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Staffan Östlund took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Göran Forssell. Göran Forssell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Axvall IK's Frans Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Gustafsson in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, one of Axvall IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Axvall IK. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Undersåker RK. Sixten Hansson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frans Norberg. 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, Axvall IK's Staffan Östlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Göran Forssell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute Axvall IK were awarded a corner. Örjan Målare went to the cornerflag to take it. Axvall IK's Örjan Målare was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Göran Forssell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frans Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Billock in the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Undersåker RK's Göran Forssell got control of the ball when Adam Danielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wiktor Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Axvall IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Billock came free, but Frans Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Staffan Östlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Undersåker RK's Göran Forssell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adam Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Gustafsson in the 94th minute of play forced Axvall IK's goalkeeper Frans Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Forssell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Östlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Undersåker RK's goalkeeper Göran Forssell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Danielsson.
