Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilbert Vidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rolf Ödman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Vidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Ödman having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Gilbert Vidman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rolf Ödman, passed just outside the right post. If Matthias Hake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Browall during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Näsum BF got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Browall. After 13 played minutes Adelsö got a freekick which was hit by Claes Sundberg. Gilbert Vidman struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rolf Ödman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Näsum BF. When Karl-Axel Bergvall fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Adelsö's protests and gave Karl-Axel Bergvall a yellow card for diving instead. Karl-Axel Bergvall hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Fritz Tinglöv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Näsum BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Tinglöv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Claes Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Näsum BF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Christian Åberg hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes, Näsum BF's Emil Mossberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolf Ödman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Näsum BF reached it. With an all-out effort, Näsum BF's Rolf Ödman threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fritz Tinglöv, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 39th minute Matthias Hake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Sundberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Rune Skager read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fritz Tinglöv to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Adelsö's Matthias Hake sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Rune Skager narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 52 played minutes Näsum BF got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Kilberg. Gilbert Vidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Henric Ingvall charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henric Ingvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henric Ingvall hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Näsum BF's Bengt-Rune Skager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Ingvall in the 86th minute of play.
