Gert Käller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Vidman in the 3rd minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Skager took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Lidberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Näsum BF's Gilbert Vidman got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fritz Tinglöv came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Näsum BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Tinglöv couldn't finish the play. When Näsum BF's Fritz Tinglöv in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stockaryd IF's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Näsum BF's Lars-Erik Bern got a free kick in the 28th minute. Näsum BF's Bengt-Rune Skager proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Näsum BF from getting a goal against them. If Gilbert Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fritz Tinglöv, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gert Käller was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vilhelm Ström's late challenge caught a Stockaryd IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilhelm Ström helped the player get up and apologised. Vilhelm Ström hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Marko Blom came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Stockaryd IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Blom couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Edgar Lidberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockaryd IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Lidberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Skager breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Näsum BF's zone, Dick Wahlström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Rune Skager came out of the goal and Dick Wahlström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fritz Tinglöv stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Lidberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bengt-Rune Skager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dick Wahlström in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Skager prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Dick Wahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Fritz Tinglöv got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eskil Friberger's late challenge caught a Näsum BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eskil Friberger helped the player get up and apologised. If Dick Wahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Näsum BF's Bengt-Rune Skager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Blom in the 80th minute of play. Dick Wahlström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bengt-Rune Skager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Stockaryd IF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Staffan Andreasson hit a great ball. If Gilbert Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
