In the 15th minute, Claes Sundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mockfjärd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Evert Ferm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolf Ödman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Matthias Hake made the kick off in the second half. When Matthias Hake came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Adelsö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthias Hake couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Adelsö's Henric Ingvall got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Ferm in the 60th minute of play forced Adelsö's goalkeeper Rolf Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Axel Bergvall charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Axel Bergvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
