Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pär Ahlrot made the kick off and thus started the match. Erik Ålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Ahlrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Forss kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Askstedt in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Eliasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hans Rolandsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pär Ahlrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Erik Ålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nyköping booed when Bjästa FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Rolandsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Eliasson having to interfere. Pär Ahlrot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Ålberg having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Nyköping's Isak Granberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Isak Granberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nyköping protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Isak Granberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 37 minutes into the game, one of Nyköping:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. André Blomberg shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Erik Ålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Ahlrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Michael Askstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Michael Askstedt struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Christian Eliasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nyköping. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niclas Åberg during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 53 minutes into the game, one of Bjästa FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Pär Ahlrot came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bjästa FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pär Ahlrot couldn't finish the play. Michael Askstedt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 64th playminute. Nyköping's Erik Ålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pär Ahlrot in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Nyköping's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Rolandsson came free, but Erik Ålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Nyköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Bjästa FF's André Blomberg tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Michael Askstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bjästa FF's Pär Ahlrot got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
