With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greger Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vankiva's Jens-Åke Wennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Bolin in the 19th minute of play. Jens-Åke Wennerlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Åke Olsson's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Marcus Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gargnäs played a much better game than Vankiva and deserved their victory. The Vankiva players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
