After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Marcus Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gargnäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Åkesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arne Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Olsson in the 6th minute of the match. Niklas Hamberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Greger Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Lennart Bolander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvidinge RK and the Gargnäs players grew even worse after the yellow card.
