Johannes Bock might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Rune Västerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Bock ran back to his position shaking his head. When Christoffer Burman fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prässebo BK's protests and gave Christoffer Burman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Prässebo BK's Christoffer Burman got a free kick in the 6th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Svenljunga BF's Johannes Bock slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt-Rune Västerberg. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. A collision led to Prässebo BK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Conny Anundsson hit a great ball. Johannes Bock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Västerberg having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Birger Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prässebo BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Falk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christer Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bengt-Rune Västerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Bock struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bengt-Rune Västerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svenljunga BF. If Christer Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Prässebo BK's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Västerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Bock. After 38 played minutes, Prässebo BK's Douglas Kråk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertil Ahlrot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Prässebo BK reached it. After 39 minutes, Magnus Eklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svenljunga BF and the Prässebo BK players grew even worse after the yellow card.
