With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Björling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 minutes, Joakim Björkdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalix IF and the Pålsboda FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pålsboda FK booed when Kalix IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Björkdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joakim Lundström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobias Björling. Kalix IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gert Deckbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tobias Björling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Pålsboda FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Lundström to maneuver through the defense. When Albert Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Kalix IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. Tobias Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Bollström in the 30th minute of play. Pålsboda FK's Filip Pihl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Pålsboda FK from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the game, Erling Paulin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pålsboda FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalix IF the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Pålsboda FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Paulin to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Kalix IF were awarded a corner. Kristoffer Snell went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kristoffer Snell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Filip Pihl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tobias Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Bollström in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Bollström was the one to do the kick off. Filip Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Bollström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tobias Björling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hannes Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gert Deckbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tobias Björling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Bollström in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Björling saved Kalix IF from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Albert Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Pihl having to interfere. Filip Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Kalix IF's goalkeeper Tobias Björling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gert Deckbergh. 94 minutes into the game, Georg Kinell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pålsboda FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
