A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Christian Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leonard Benett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stensele's Leonard Benett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Wassenius in the 32nd minute of play. If Christian Apelquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Niclas Wassenius came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Berghem IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niclas Wassenius couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Stensele booed when Berghem IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pål Dahlbom was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Håkan Hammarbäck took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Björn Jonasson to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute, Jerry Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Odén was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Berghem IF's Jens-Ola Ekgren got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 66th minute of the match, Pål Dahlbom tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Björn Jonasson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Niclas Wassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Leonard Benett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ola Ekgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonard Benett. Stensele's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Niclas Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Benett having to interfere. Stensele's Leonard Benett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Apelquist in the 81st minute of play. Leonard Benett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Apelquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Niclas Wassenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berghem IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Niclas Wassenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Benett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Stensele's Casper Käller got a free kick in the 85th minute. Leonard Benett came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Berghem IF's Dan Sjögren. But to his dismay, Dan Sjögren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Christian Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Leonard Benett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Dahlbom in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Berghem IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Berghem IF's Björn Jonasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Berghem IF from getting a goal against them. Björn Jonasson was a little too slow when Håkan Hammarbäck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 2-2. Berghem IF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
