Valdemar Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Tobias Alin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Håkan Hammarbäck fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stensele's protests and gave Håkan Hammarbäck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stensele getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Håkan Hammarbäck hit a great ball. Rörö IFK's Valdemar Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Benett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Nordin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes Stensele's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Markus Svensson who took care of the corner kick. Håkan Hammarbäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gustav Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Hammarbäck succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 29th playminute. After a rather tough play, Rörö IFK's Jesper Kruse got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the last second Gustav Ahlroht throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pål Dahlbom in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oskar Nordin in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Benett saved Stensele from getting behind. Rörö IFK's Oskar Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pål Dahlbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tobias Alin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustav Ahlroht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stensele's goalkeeper Leonard Benett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
