If Gert Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Åke Nyström during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gyttorp RK getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Stig-Åke Nyström hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Gunnarn BF's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Josefsson came free, but Gunnar Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Georg Salqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gyttorp RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Georg Salqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Georg Salqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyttorp RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Johan Brovall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Ros. Gunnarn BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Brovall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Gyttorp RK's goalkeeper Rasmus Skoglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gert Abrahamsson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Abrahamsson got free with Rasmus Skoglund in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gyttorp RK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Gyttorp RK:s Rasmus Skoglund showed great skill when he stopped Mattias Westerberg:s penalty. In the 36th minute, Eric Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Gunnarn BF's Bengt-Åke Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rasmus Skoglund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt-Åke Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rasmus Skoglund having to make a save. The Gunnarn BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gyttorp RK were winning 0-2.

Johan Brovall got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-3 in the right cross in the 52nd match minute before Gunnar Ros had time to react. Gunnar Ros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Salqvist in the 56th minute. Johan Brovall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gert Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rasmus Skoglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Johan Brovall kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunnar Ros. That made the score 0-4 in the 76 minute of play. Bengt-Åke Sundström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rasmus Skoglund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Georg Salqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gunnar Ros made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Georg Salqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyttorp RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.
