In the 18th match minute, Hindås BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Palm to maneuver through the defense. Christian Ekeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Kvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Kvist in the 24th minute of play forced Mellösa IF's goalkeeper Christian Ekeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcus Kvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mellösa IF's Richard Tidéksson got a free kick in the 29th minute. Mattias Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Marc Bocklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mellösa IF and the Hindås BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mellösa IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marc Bocklund hit a great ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Marcus Kvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mellösa IF's Christian Ekeberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus Kvist kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Peter Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Mellösa IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Kvist made a kick off. Christian Ekeberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Calle Eklund hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Mattias Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Clementsson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hindås BF's zone, Calle Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Clementsson came out of the goal and Calle Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Peter Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mellösa IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven Palm charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Palm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven Palm hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Mattias Rosendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Ekeberg having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Calle Eklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hindås BF's Sven Palm got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Sven Palm off the ground. Sven Palm hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Arvin Clementsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Sjöberg in the 87th minute of the match. If Calle Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
