Egon Johnsson's late challenge caught a Runhällen IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egon Johnsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lilla edet RK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Egon Johnsson hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Runhällen IFK's Valter Hedström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Beckeman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reine Thedin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lilla edet RK's Helge Hjeltman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 26 minutes into the match, Runhällen IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Hjeltman came free, but Reine Thedin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lilla edet RK's Torsten Beckeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Kuse in the 27th minute of play. Torsten Beckeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Hedström in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute Helge Hjeltman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Thedin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Runhällen IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Fernkvist to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Runhällen IFK's goalkeeper Reine Thedin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Eliasson. In the 41st match minute, Runhällen IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Siöberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Helge Hjeltman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lilla edet RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Hjeltman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Thedin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Runhällen IFK's Reine Thedin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Hjeltman in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Runhällen IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hjalmar Kuse to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Reine Thedin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Hjeltman, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Karl Kullgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torsten Beckeman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Helge Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valter Hedström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Beckeman having to interfere. Valter Hedström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lilla edet RK's zone, Valter Hedström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Beckeman came out of the goal and Valter Hedström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, Lilla edet RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Bergren to maneuver through the defense. When Valter Hedström fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Runhällen IFK's protests and gave Valter Hedström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Valter Hedström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Lilla edet RK's goalkeeper Torsten Beckeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valter Hedström. The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Kuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Beckeman was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 88thth minute of the game Valter Hedström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lilla edet RK's Torsten Beckeman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hjalmar Kuse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torsten Beckeman came out and tried to block the shot, but Hjalmar Kuse slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Helge Hjeltman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runhällen IFK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
