Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vidar Lund started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Vidar Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sjötorp RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidar Lund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Lysvik booed when Sjötorp RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Sjöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Ingemar Billock in the 6th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ludwig Njurenius's left hand side. Gert Axelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludwig Njurenius having to make a save. If Gert Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludwig Njurenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Tunberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Sjötorp RK booed when Lysvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sjötorp RK's Vidar Lund got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lysvik's Eric Hedbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Lysvik from getting a goal against them. Eric Hedbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Arne Linquist in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Charlie Tunberg made the kick off in the second half. Ludwig Njurenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Tunberg in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sjötorp RK's zone, Charlie Tunberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Njurenius came out of the goal and Charlie Tunberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Arne Linquist's late challenge caught a Lysvik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Arne Linquist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Stig-Arne Linquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Jack Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidar Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Arne Linquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Hedbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ludwig Njurenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lysvik. A hard shot by Ingemar Billock from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Ludwig Njurenius's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Lund in the 96th minute of play forced Lysvik's goalkeeper Eric Hedbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
