A very good chance for a goal. Christer Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Hasselqvist having to interfere. Alfons Ahlquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Hasselqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Freddie Axelsson's late challenge caught a Sörberge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sörberge booed when Mörarp RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mörarp RK's zone, Olof Paulin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, Mörarp RK's Freddie Axelsson got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sörberge's Roger Ahlstedt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carl Palm but with some difficulty. 19 minutes into the match, Olof Paulin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mörarp RK's Carl Palm. Carl Palm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute Sven-Oskar Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Palm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Alfons Ahlquist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Alfons Ahlquist came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Mörarp RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Ahlquist couldn't finish the play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sune Collin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sörberge's Fred Hasselqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Nordström in the 85th minute of play. Carl Palm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sune Collin's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Fred Hasselqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Ahlquist in the 92nd minute.
