Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Sibbhult's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Hansson came free, but Olof Wester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christopher Wennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Lund having to interfere. Christopher Wennersten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Sven-Ove Lund made a huge save. After 14 minutes, Kevin Rolandsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frinnaryd IK and the Sibbhult players grew even worse after the yellow card. 13 minutes into the game, one of Frinnaryd IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Sibbhult. Verner Gregersson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sven-Ove Lund. 1-0. If Charlie Lindell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Charlie Lindell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Wester having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Sibbhult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Hedin to maneuver through the defense. Robin Hansson scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olof Wester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Häll charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Häll the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Ove Lund made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Christopher Wennersten sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Berglund in the 38th minute of play forced Frinnaryd IK's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sibbhult's Charlie Lindell got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 minutes of play Frinnaryd IK's Henry Häll was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Sibbhult booed when Frinnaryd IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Häll didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Allan Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Lindell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Leonard Hedin fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sibbhult's protests and gave Leonard Hedin a yellow card for diving instead. Peter Holmberg, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marcus Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Marcus Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frinnaryd IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Christopher Wennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Marcus Söderström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Christopher Wennersten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Ove Lund having to make a save. In the 72nd match minute, Sibbhult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Berglund to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Sibbhult's Charlie Lindell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Ove Lund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Birger Rosin fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sibbhult's protests and gave Birger Rosin a yellow card for diving instead. Birger Rosin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Marcus Söderström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Frinnaryd IK's Marcus Söderström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olof Wester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Sibbhult's Olof Wester got control of the ball when Marcus Söderström tried to sneak it across the goal line.
