Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rasmus Christoffersson kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Norberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Karlstad FF's goalkeeper Tord Thedin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hjalmar Lidman charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hjalmar Lidman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Karlstad FF got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Lidman. In the 10th minute of the match Osvald Hultin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tord Thedin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Svanskog's Axel Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Svanskog from getting a goal against them. Boris Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Albin Beneth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Axel Hermansson made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Berggren during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Svanskog booed when Karlstad FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Svanskog's Osvald Hultin tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albin Beneth got free with Axel Hermansson in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Rasmus Christoffersson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Axel Hermansson, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Svanskog's zone, Rasmus Christoffersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Hermansson came out of the goal and Rasmus Christoffersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Backlund hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Simon Backlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tord Thedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Dennis Kielberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tord Thedin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bengt-Åke Brandin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Svanskog:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Karlstad FF:s goal. Albin Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Hermansson having to interfere. Rasmus Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Hermansson having to interfere. Axel Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Beneth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Boris Mikaelsson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svanskog's protests and gave Boris Mikaelsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Svanskog getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Boris Mikaelsson hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Albin Beneth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karlstad FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Albin Beneth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simon Backlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Thedin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Simon Backlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlstad FF's Rasmus Christoffersson got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
