Arkelstorp RK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Adrian Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arkelstorp RK's Fredric Hökqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Spets in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sören Kellberg made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Waller in the 53rd minute of play forced Ytterby's goalkeeper Anders Morat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Thomas Waller fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arkelstorp RK's protests and gave Thomas Waller a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Arkelstorp RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Waller to maneuver through the defense. If Bernt Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Thomas Waller hit a great ball. Ytterby's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
