Kjell Tham's late challenge caught a Degerfors RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Tham helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vrångö FK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Kjell Tham hit a great ball. If Sten Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vrångö FK's zone, Jerry Blomqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Bergqvist came out of the goal and Jerry Blomqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 minutes, Kim Vinström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vrångö FK and the Degerfors RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vrångö FK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Kim Vinström hit a great ball. Wilhelm Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Botvidsson in the 26th minute of play. Jerry Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Wilhelm Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joacim Glad in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Wiklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vrångö FK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Bergqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Wilhelm Bergqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Degerfors RK's Jerry Blomqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jerry Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Wilhelm Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Olsman kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joacim Glad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Degerfors RK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vrångö FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
