Egon Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Brolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Håning in the 6th minute of play forced Pajala IF's goalkeeper Anthon Hurtig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kista BK fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Kista BK's Nils Andreasson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Kista BK's zone, Ingvar Åkerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Ahlroht came out of the goal and Ingvar Åkerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Pajala IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Håning came free, but Anthon Hurtig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Nils Andreasson made a precise shot to the right of Anthon Hurtig. Pajala IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, Ove Sjöö was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kista BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pajala IF the free kick. In the 28th minute, Ove Sjöö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egon Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Brolin in the 43rd minute of play. Ingvar Åkerberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Egon Ahlroht skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Brolin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Ahlroht was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. During the 53rd minute of the match Ove Sjöö completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ove Sjöö a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 54 played minutes Kista BK got a freekick which was hit by Ove Sjöö. Olov Bergfeldt hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Wilhelm Brolin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pajala IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Brolin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olov Bergfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Anthon Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johannes Håning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anthon Hurtig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Bergfeldt in the 69th minute. Edward Lindkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Hurtig having to interfere. Kista BK's Egon Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Åkerberg in the 93rd minute of play. The Pajala IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kista BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Kista BK.
