The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filiph Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Högström in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Fredriksdal IK's Alf Hedman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Elof Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Ferm having to interfere. Fredriksdal IK's Filiph Haegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Högström in the 18th minute of play. Östen Björklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiph Haegg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Östen Björklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Sivert Ferm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Björk in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Johansson got free with Sivert Ferm in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fredriksdal IK's goalkeeper Filiph Haegg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Fredriksdal IK's Elof Björk in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stensele RK's goalie prevented a goal. Patrik Linqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Stensele RK's Yngve Pilgren tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fredriksdal IK's goalkeeper Filiph Haegg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tony Söderlund fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fredriksdal IK's protests and gave Tony Söderlund a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Fredriksdal IK got a freekick which was hit by Tony Söderlund. In the 46th match minute, Fredriksdal IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Smed to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Östen Björklund made the kick off in the second half. Östen Björklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Filiph Haegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Högström in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiph Haegg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Stensele RK booed when Fredriksdal IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Smed didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Östen Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stensele RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Östen Björklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiph Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Björklund in the 93rd minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
