Bertil Caspersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Nordin having to interfere. Norrhult's Henning Pettersson pulled a muscle in his back after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 18 played minutes Älvängen RK got a freekick which was hit by Ted Näfver. Alfons Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Tidén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Joseph Brenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfons Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Tidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Ted Näfver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Norrhult's Villiam Jönsson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Åke Åkerman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sune Hermansson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Norrhult's Egil Wennerlund got a free kick in the 37th minute. A collision led to Norrhult getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bertil Caspersson hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Norrhult's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Brenner came free, but Sune Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Rune Nordal's late challenge caught a Norrhult's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Rune Nordal helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Älvängen RK! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casper Tidén to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Älvängen RK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Helge Skarkman was slow to take the kick. During this time Norrhult's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 61 in the game by Casper Tidén from a close distance when the talented Alfons Nordin managed to make a qualified save. Älvängen RK's players were relieved. Casper Tidén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfons Nordin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Sune Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Brenner in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Norrhult's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Åkerman came free, but Sune Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Casper Tidén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Åke Åkerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älvängen RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Åkerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sune Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Joseph Brenner came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Älvängen RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Brenner couldn't finish the play. Casper Tidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Nordin having to interfere. Tomas Danielsson hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. If Casper Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
