Håkan Danielssons short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Pär Gadd to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pär Gadd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Grönberg in the 18th minute of the match. Håkan Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Gadd having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Bengt Grönberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl Ahlin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Bengt Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Bergsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt Grönberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Gadd having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fjärdhundra BK's Helge Vall got a free kick in the 29th minute. Håkan Danielsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Pär Gadd made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Danielsson in the 36th minute of play forced Fjärdhundra BK's goalkeeper Pär Gadd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludwig Bammerman's late challenge caught a Näsviken FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Bammerman helped the player get up and apologised. Ludwig Bammerman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Näsviken FK's Håkan Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt Grönberg made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Håkan Danielsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Söderman in the 57th minute of play forced Fjärdhundra BK's goalkeeper Pär Gadd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ludwig Bammerman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. A collision led to Fjärdhundra BK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ludwig Bammerman hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Näsviken FK's Sture Nyqvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Näsviken FK booed when Fjärdhundra BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Vall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmie Lundgren lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Fjärdhundra BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Näsviken FK:s goal. Pär Gadd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Grönberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Fjärdhundra BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Bergsten to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Danielsson in the 82nd minute of play forced Fjärdhundra BK's goalkeeper Pär Gadd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84thth minute of the game Bengt Grönberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fjärdhundra BK's Pär Gadd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pär Gadd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Grönberg in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leif Lidberg during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Fjärdhundra BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Lidberg to maneuver through the defense. Bengt Grönberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Pär Gadd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
