A very good chance. Erik Sjögren might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birger Askberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Sjögren ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Johannes Lindholm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Johannes Lindholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Helander's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Ingvar Bengtsson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gustav Klintæus could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Johannes Lindholm however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ivar Helander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rinkaby IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Helander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Sjögren made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Erik Sjögren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Birger Askberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Brian Kruse hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match.
