Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alf Nyman got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Piteå's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Helander came free, but Viggo Lennartsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Karlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Karlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tobias Karlsson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Helander in the 5th minute of play forced Piteå's goalkeeper Viggo Lennartsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piteå's Viggo Lennartsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Klintæus in the 12th minute of play. Alf Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Birger Askberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Bernt Häger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viggo Lennartsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Alf Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Nyman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Birger Askberg 23 minutes into the match. Evert Hybbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Birger Askberg made a huge save. If Gustav Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play Piteå's Tobias Karlsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 38th minute, Tobias Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Klintæus in the 40th minute of play forced Piteå's goalkeeper Viggo Lennartsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Gustav Klintæus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Lennartsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viggo Lennartsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Helander in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Helander in the 45th minute of play forced Piteå's goalkeeper Viggo Lennartsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Piteå getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alf Nyman hit a great ball. The long shot by Mathias Martinsson in the 54th minute really tested Viggo Lennartsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A hard shot 58 in the game by Gustav Klintæus from a close distance when the talented Viggo Lennartsson managed to make a qualified save. Piteå's players were relieved. If Ivar Helander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Piteå's zone, Ivar Helander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Lennartsson came out of the goal and Ivar Helander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piteå's Bo-Erik Odman got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Ivar Helander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viggo Lennartsson, 1-3. Birger Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Hybbert in the 85th minute of the match. Evert Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Askberg having to interfere. Ivar Helander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Lennartsson having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, one of Rinkaby IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Piteå. Bernt Häger stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Birger Askberg. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rinkaby IFK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
