Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gårdsjö's Hubert Hammarbäck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Hjalmar Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Hjalmar Dalgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gårdsjö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Emanuel Beckström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gårdsjö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oskarström IFK the free kick. After 15 played minutes Gårdsjö got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Beckström. Oskarström IFK's Morgan Almstedt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bernt Hernström but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Dalgren in the 17th minute of play forced Oskarström IFK's goalkeeper Tim Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gårdsjö's Bernt Hernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Brenner in the 20th minute of play. Håkan Brenner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Gårdsjö's Bernt Hernström got control of the ball when Arvin Tunberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Gårdsjö getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Yngve Frisk hit a great ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Håkan Brenner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gårdsjö's Bernt Hernström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 40 minutes on the clock, Christer Hamberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 0-2 came in the 43rd minute when Karl-Erik Hurtig all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Tim Blom. Tim Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arvin Tunberg made a kick off. If Arvin Tunberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Oskarström IFK's goalkeeper Tim Blom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hjalmar Dalgren. Arvin Tunberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match, Hubert Hammarbäck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tim Blom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Hjalmar Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Tommy Hedkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gårdsjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Hedkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Beckström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tim Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hubert Hammarbäck came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Gårdsjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hubert Hammarbäck couldn't finish the play. Hjalmar Dalgren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Hubert Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Brovall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gårdsjö's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
