Markus Ånger came out of the goal and Christopher Kruse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Maximilian Löfskog took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kenneth Bammerman to make any attempt to save it. In the 15th minute of the match Evert Göransson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Ånger skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Ljusdal IK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Karl-Axel Wennerström hit a great ball. Sandöverken's Kenneth Bammerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Löfskog in the 20th minute of play. Roy Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Ånger having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximilian Löfskog to make the kick off. The supporters of Ljusdal IK booed when Sandöverken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Bammerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Löfskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 97th minute, Kennet Granström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
