Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tommy Wennersten got the match started through his kick off. Nyland BK's Tommy Wennersten got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Hans Björck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joacim Öfverman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Bankeryd's Jan Ambjörnsson, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Bankeryd. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Dahlman in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stellan Gustavsson saved Bankeryd from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Robert Dahlman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bankeryd's Stellan Gustavsson. Stellan Gustavsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Robert Dahlman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Ambjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joacim Öfverman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Nyland BK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Linus Broman hit a great ball. If Tim Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Stellan Gustavsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Dahlman in the 51st minute. Johan Engström hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Tommy Wennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Ambjörnsson in the 57th minute of play forced Nyland BK's goalkeeper Joacim Öfverman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Joacim Öfverman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tim Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Nyland BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Ahlbeck to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Linus Broman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joacim Öfverman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joacim Öfverman came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Bankeryd's Tim Nyström. But to his dismay, Tim Nyström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Nyström in the 92nd minute of play forced Nyland BK's goalkeeper Joacim Öfverman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Dahlman got free with Stellan Gustavsson in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Bankeryd's zone, Tommy Wennersten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Gustavsson came out of the goal and Tommy Wennersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes, Isaac Ahlbeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nyland BK and the Bankeryd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bankeryd booed when Nyland BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Ahlbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
