Ludvig Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Rosin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trollhättan's goalkeeper Ludvig Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peder Åkesson came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. After 72 minutes, Tommy Vennerström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trollhättan and the Svensbyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Peder Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. Svensbyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trollhättan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Svensbyn's Adrian Palmquist got a free kick in the 84th minute. Olof Bergvall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludvig Magnusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Robin Vik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Hammarström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Svensbyn players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
