Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Allan Örn got the match started through his kick off. If Olof Bergvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kåre Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Göran Hammarström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Sten Bergqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Färentuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svensbyn the free kick. After having played for 8 minutes, Börge Rosin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svensbyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börge Rosin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olof Bergvall did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dan Mellberg 17 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Adrian Palmquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Andersson took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Göran Hammarström. Göran Hammarström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nils-Åke Lundhberg charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Åke Lundhberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Olof Bergvall kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dan Mellberg. That made the score 3-1 in the 34 minute of play. Börge Rosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dan Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Färentuna's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Bergvall came free, but Dan Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Hammarström having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Olof Bergvall made the kick off in the second half. Allan Örn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Allan Örn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Färentuna and the Svensbyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Färentuna getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Allan Örn hit a great ball. Olof Bergvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Mellberg having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Färentuna got a freekick which was hit by Edward Västberg. When Svensbyn's Börge Rosin in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dan Mellberg guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Dan Mellberg came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Svensbyn's Olof Bergvall. But to his dismay, Olof Bergvall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Anton Strandberg's late challenge caught a Färentuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Strandberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Svensbyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Strandberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Allan Örn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Färentuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Örn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Hammarström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börge Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Svensbyn getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Villiam Friberger hit a great ball.
