Frösön's Jonas Dalgren got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Dalgren struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Mårten Backlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frösön. Osvald Caspersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mårten Backlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Frösön's goalkeeper Kent Wallengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Överman. Jonas Dalgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mårten Backlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Caspersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Frösön's zone, Emil Gunnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Wallengren came out of the goal and Emil Gunnarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Roland Spets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kent Wallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvald Caspersson was the one to do the kick off. If Jonas Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Wallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Överman in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Roland Spets left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barsebäck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Barsebäck's players were relieved. 80 minutes into the match, Frösön's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Spets came free, but Kent Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ernst Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Barsebäck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Jonsson couldn't finish the play. Frösön's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
