One of Nyhammar IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gullspång IF:s goal. Samuel Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Tidéksson in the 93rd minute of the match. Leif Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nyhammar IK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nyhammar IK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
