Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Agunnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Eklund came free, but Richard Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 played minutes Agunnaryd got a freekick which was hit by Billy Albom. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Nordkvist in the 5th minute of play forced Agunnaryd's goalkeeper Richard Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Joacim Sikström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agunnaryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Joacim Sikström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bottnaryd's Olov Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Hammarbäck in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Agunnaryd defense, Karl-Magnus Sandberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Lundström. The Agunnaryd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Lundström should have stopped the shot. Kristian Jelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Olov Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Lundström made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Karl-Magnus Sandberg sent off a good shot on target. When Joacim Sikström came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Agunnaryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Sikström couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Agunnaryd got a freekick which was hit by Billy Albom. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 31st minute, when Bottnaryd's Sune Nordkvist after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Richard Lundström in Agunnaryd's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Agunnaryd's Richard Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Eklund in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Magnus Sandberg got free with Richard Lundström in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Agunnaryd's Richard Lundström got control of the ball when Karl-Magnus Sandberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claes Eklund to make the kick off. Claes Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Magnus Sandberg took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Lundström. Richard Lundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 63 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Sandberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Richard Lundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joacim Sikström came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olov Forsberg could save by the left post. Mikael Högberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Lundström having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claes Eklund in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Lundström saved Agunnaryd from getting behind. Karl-Magnus Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bottnaryd's Folke Haegg got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bottnaryd had won after a very even match.
