In the 3rd minute Rune Olsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Julin made a great header on Aneby FF's corner, it was just that Lindesberg IF's Emanuel Persson managed to reach the ball for a save. Jörn Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Sjögren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jörn Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Anthon Danielsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kjell Christoffersson. Aneby FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kjell Christoffersson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Viggo Åkerberg sent off a good shot on target. Kjell Christoffersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Palmkvist in the 14th minute of play. Jörn Sjögren got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 15 played minutes Aneby FF got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Sjögren. Otto Palmkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otto Palmkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Christoffersson having to interfere. Viggo Åkerberg struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Kjell Christoffersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lindesberg IF. After 28 played minutes Otto Palmkvist rounded Aneby FF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Otto Palmkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Conny Rosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Oskar Felin's late challenge caught a Lindesberg IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Felin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aneby FF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Felin hit a great ball. Viggo Åkerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Christoffersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Palmkvist in the 44th minute of play. Aneby FF's Kjell Christoffersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Aneby FF from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otto Palmkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Viggo Åkerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Christoffersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viggo Åkerberg in the 62nd minute of play forced Aneby FF's goalkeeper Kjell Christoffersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viggo Åkerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kjell Christoffersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 71st minute of the match Karl-Oskar Felin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karl-Oskar Felin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 75 minutes into the game, Jonathan Apelkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindesberg IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aneby FF the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Lindesberg IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Oscar Julin rounded Lindesberg IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Kjell Christoffersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Åkerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 86 minutes on the clock, Gustav Persson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aneby FF! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Lindesberg IF. Anthon Danielsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kjell Christoffersson. 2-1. Kjell Christoffersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Palmkvist in the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Rune Olsman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aneby FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
