Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredric Bäckström started the match with the kick off. Andy Nässén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Kollberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Sivert Lindqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Rickard Sundén made a huge save. Viggo Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Bäckström in the 9th minute of play forced Åhus IFK's goalkeeper Rickard Sundén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredric Bäckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Sundén having to interfere. Karl-Johan Hybbert took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Nässén. Andy Nässén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 34 played minutes Barsele got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Bark. The supporters of Barsele booed when Åhus IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viggo Kollberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viggo Kollberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Andy Nässén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Åhus IFK's Karl-Johan Hybbert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andy Nässén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Johan Hybbert to make the kick off. Anthon Björnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Åhus IFK booed when Barsele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Bodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens Sjödin, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Viggo Kollberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Barsele got a freekick which was hit by Ove Bodin. Rickard Sundén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rickard Sundén came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barsele's Fredric Bäckström. But to his dismay, Fredric Bäckström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 96th minute, Sivert Lindqvist made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Sundén. Åhus IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Åhus IFK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barsele.
