Åhus FF's Leonardo Ekgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Hammarberg in the 9th minute of play. When Klagstorp BF's Kjell Hammarberg in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Hammarberg in the 14th minute of play forced Åhus FF's goalkeeper Leonardo Ekgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Kjell Hammarberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åhus FF's Leonardo Ekgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Ahlberg in the 20th minute of play forced Klagstorp BF's goalkeeper Bertil Hellqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th play minute Anders Tingberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonardo Ekgren. 1-0. A collision led to Klagstorp BF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Georg Pihlgren hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Jens-Åke Nyström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bertil Hellqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Göran Aspengren fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Klagstorp BF's protests and gave Göran Aspengren a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Klagstorp BF got a freekick which was hit by Göran Aspengren. Leonardo Ekgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anders Tingberg in the 44th minute. Anders Tingberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 46th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Staffan Ahlberg to make the kick off. Georg Pihlgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Ekgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Georg Pihlgren ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Åhus FF's Bertil Hellqvist threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Staffan Ahlberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edward Västerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bertil Hellqvist made a huge save. Anders Tingberg struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Leonardo Ekgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klagstorp BF. Bertil Hellqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Västerstrand in the 69th minute. Staffan Ahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Klagstorp BF's Bertil Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Ahlberg in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Georg Pihlgren during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Georg Pihlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Edward Västerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Tingberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Ekgren having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Hammarberg in the 88th minute of play forced Åhus FF's goalkeeper Leonardo Ekgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klagstorp BF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Åhus FF for a fine match.
