After a defensive mix-up in Klagstorp BF's zone, Kristoffer Delin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Hellqvist came out of the goal and Kristoffer Delin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Klagstorp BF's goalkeeper Bertil Hellqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristoffer Delin . Kristoffer Delin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Bertil Hellqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bertil Hellqvist was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jon Kellberg. Blattnicksele's Edvin Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Hammarberg in the 27th minute of play. Kristoffer Delin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Kjell Hammarberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blattnicksele's Edvin Lind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Blattnicksele's Joakim Lundgren got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Anders Tingberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klagstorp BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Tingberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kjell Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Tingberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin Lind. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anders Tingberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Tingberg in the 45th minute of play forced Blattnicksele's goalkeeper Edvin Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Klagstorp BF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Göran Aspengren hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Hammarberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Fritz Back managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blattnicksele's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Back was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Hellqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kristoffer Delin struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Bertil Hellqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blattnicksele. In the 58th minute, Fritz Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Georg Pihlgren fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Klagstorp BF's protests and gave Georg Pihlgren a yellow card for diving instead. Georg Pihlgren hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Klagstorp BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Pihlgren to maneuver through the defense.
